I have received this SMS:
“A nuclear power plant in Fukumi, Japan exploded at 4:30 AM today. If it rains tomorrow or later, don’t go outside. If you are outside, be sure that you have rain protectors. It’s acid rain. Don’t let it touch you. You may burn your skin, lose your hair or have cancer.”
What do you all think? For me this SMS is extremely dangerous because it can cause chaos and the story can be exaggerated.
So far there is no official statement made by the authorities from all over the world and of course from the nuclear agencies in Japan. We must remain calm and do not make any assumptions. (4.15 pm Malaysia time +8.00 gmt). I truely believe it’s just a hoax!
In Malaysia, the agency that specializes in this field is the Malaysian Institute for Nuclear Technology Research (MINT). MINT url is http://www.nuclearmalaysia.gov.my.
Latest : MINT suggested IAEA. You guys can check about it here >> https://inaiputih.wordpress.com/2011/03/15/international-atomic-energy-agency-iaea-update/
In addition, you may refer to an international news agency’s website as:
If you do a search on Google at this time with the string “A nuclear power plant exploded in Fukumi, ” CariGold’s Forum will take place first. Please understand this. 🙂
Finally, be cool.
